About this project

Toucan Toco produces data visualisation apps for decision makers in more than 90 Fortune 500 companies, including LVMH, Société Générale, Total, Renault... 

Our solution aggregates multi-source data by using a library of connectors and presents the data on easy-to-use dashboards made of homemade interactive graphics; giving business leaders the ability to understand and communicate their data throughout the company. You discover your business's story, step by step, anywhere, anytime, and on any device. This is data storytelling.

 

We help present your data in a simple way; making it understandable and accessible, hence actionable by anyone in your company.

 

Data Visualisations adapted to an audience: We tell Data Stories by adapting the context in which your data is being told: Who is it addressed to? What are they looking for in the data? What are the KPIs that really matter to them? It's this very last kilometre of your data's journey that we help you exploit. We put the data in the hands of everyone in your company without them needing any sort of training because it's adapted to them.

? Hours of work aggregating data saved: Forget about printing Excel sheets, making visualisations out of it, screenshotting it, sending it by email, losing it, doing the whole operation again. We build department-specific apps (marketing, finance, operations, sales...) that aggregate multi-source data and present it on an easy-to-read/use dashboard. Not only are our dashboards sexy, they're also accessible anytime, anywhere and from any screen in the world.

 

Data Storytelling VS Data Exploration

Data Exploration is meant for analysts - experts who represents a minority in a company, who have been trained to use a data exploration tool - who spend hours looking for an answer to a complex question. Such tools are Tableau, Qlik or PowerBI.

Data Storytelling is meant for NON analysts (99% of the company) who do not need to be trained whatsoever, and who constantly look for answer to simple recurring questions regarding their business's performance. This is who Toucan Toco is meant for.

 

Homemade Graphics

To ensure you understand your data, we use homemade graphics that are both interactive and dynamic. This allows you to gain an incremental understanding of what is happening within your business, rather than being exposed to 10 graphics at the same time and not know where to look and what to look at.

 

Consolidation

We both work with you and use our experience to define important KPIs for your activity. We then create a glossary that explains everything to anyone who's got access to the app (from COMEX only to the whole company, depending on your needs). This will consolidate your team.

 

Agile & Adaptable

We have a big library of connectors to plug our app onto any database (Excel, Google Analytics, SQL Database... anything, really). If we don't have it yet we'll build one in just a couple of weeks.

We're a design-first company. Things have to make sense. This means not only creating a great user experience, but also using the client's design language for the app to become a native tool for you.

We use an Agile methodology in every project. This means we'll create your app in less than 3 months.
