Fiber Optic Sensor Technology for Industrial IoT

About this project

AOMS' core technology is based on harnessing the power of light and using standard single mode fiber optic cables as sensing devices. Our technology can help with sensing multiple physical and chemical parameters such as temperature, moisture, displacement, vibration, strain, liquid level, pressure, and hydrochemicals at multiple points over long distances on a single strand of fiber optic cables. AOMS has leveraged the telecom standards to develop ruggedized packaging for the deployment and use of fiber optic sensor cables for monitoring in harsh environments where existing sensing technologies have limited performance. Our system consists of fiber optic sensor cables, optical gateway, connectivity, and cloud-based analytical software to provide our client with a complete solution for their monitoring needs.

AOMS fiber optic sensor system has been deployed globally in multiple projects subsurface monitoring, asset monitoring in telecom (cell towers) and oil/gas industry (pipeline), and concrete monitoring in the construction industry. AOMS is actively looking for industrial partners who would be willing to deploy this technology for their industrial application or act as a channel partner for this technology on a global scale.
