We offer engineering services in the Internet of Things space as well as products to address specific vertical needs (including NIR spectroscopy and beacons). We are currently adding LPWAN capabilities to our products.

About Us

The Beginning

KS Technologies (KST) was founded in April 2003, in gorgeous Colorado Springs, Colorado. We have dedicated engineering expertise on staff in the key areas of Hardware, iOS, Android, and UI/UX Engineering.

Throughout its history, KST has put special emphasis on the combination of hardware, mobile, desktop, and cloud-based solutions. Our size and a “key player in every position” strategy makes us agile in an ever-changing mobile landscape. We all get incredibly excited about the potential of connecting devices to the Internet to provide global access to highly localized data!

2018

The KST33 Series, our Distance Sensor, was brought to market. It is a patent pending device capable of contact-less measurement of solid and liquid levels within 10mm accuracy. It is capable of transmitting that information over short ranges using Bluetooth Low Energy or long range using a variety of Low-Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) or Cellular radios.

2019

KST adds Test Engineering services to its portfolio, including full custom test fixture design, functional & parametric testing for the production line, and even testing of customer's volume product. This comes at a time when KST moves to a new facility better suited to a production environment with a vision toward future growth.
