Borda Technology is a product and solution development and system integration company specializing in RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Real-Time Location Systems, asset management, stock and inventory management, and business analytics for healthcare. Our company has been working on RFID technology through its research and development offices at Istanbul Technical University and the University of South Florida, aiming to develop and implement the most suitable technology for our customers’ needs. Borda Technology delivers solutions that increase operational visibility and awareness, enhance efficiency, reduce underutilization, speed up operations, and increase the accuracy of all processes.

More than 12 years ago, we started developing IoT solutions, even before the term IoT hit the market. As we spent more time in the field, as a team we discovered that astonishing levels of operational inefficiencies were crippling healthcare. Most of these inefficiencies were caused by a lack of accurate data for hospital processess, and billions were lost to excessive costs, every year. It was worse for the patients: During a cardiac arrest occurring inside a hospital, vital seconds were being lost just finding a defibrillator, time the patient frequently does not have.
