Finns – who are they? What makes them unique?
Where do their weird and wonderful behaviour originate from?
Forest Finns – it’s said that “the soul of the Finnish nation is in the forest”. Finns love nature – forests, lakes, silence, berries, hiking, camping, sausage prepared on a camp fire, summer cottages, jumping into icy water after sauna, traditionally naked, and many more quirky little things you can experience in the Finnish Wilderness.
How can we promote the beauty of Finnish forest with its numerous opportunities and make it go viral globally?
We’re looking for teams to build a creative campaign (video/VR/AR or other solution) to inspire people to share their experiences in the Finnish forest.
How could you encourage people to go back to nature and ignite their passion for nature – in the true wilderness or in the urban environment? A competition (e.g. #mymetsa100) to be launched as a part of the campaign. The winner to be voted by the public.
A summary of the challenge:
· Building a promotional campaign which inspires people to share their forest adventures
· Launching the campaign via various social media channels inviting people to share their adventures in Finnish nature
· Building a platform where all participants can upload and share their videos and general public is able to cast their votes and share their comments (inc. measures of views, clicks, shares, etc.)
· Creating a Big Buzz globally about Finns & nature & all the fun stuff!

The best team with the most inspiring concept will be rewarded with a My Metsä Helsinki honorary tree, the first tree which will be planted in the world’s first unique and innovative urban forest in the heart of Helsinki.
