During June 2020, Nokia organized a hackathon with the theme "Nokia 5G - Connect with Emotion." It searched for solutions to enrich communication with emotions and feelings. In several fields from person to person communication, person to machine communication, IoT and AI based solutions, mimicing real physical interaction is and will be an increasingly relevant element. During a period of restricted physical connection, maintaining the productivity, sharing, learning and creativity in human organizations highlights this. As we are adding intelligence to machines, we need to learn how to interact with those fellow robots.
At the conclusion of the hackathon, we are honored to embrace two teams as winners of the Nokia 5G - Connect with Emotion hackathon!
Team Emotion Detectives: The team considered the detection of emotion as a element of several solutions from retail to healthcare, considered the privacy issues, the development big data analytics, productization and go to market. Team members: Pranava Varshan, Marjo Uusi-Pantti, Md Moniruzzaman Tanim and Zeyi Zhang.
Team 5G Technology in Convoying Human Emotions considered adapting 5G technology into hospital environment and healthcare, producing impressive set of 5G, Machine Learning and solution design both in scientific theory and in practice. Team members: Swaleh Hussein and Said Abdullah.
