The areas of interest are:

  • Solutions ensuring service quality, e.g. full availability of network services and consisting end user experience in mobile and fixed networks
  • Solutions providing remote /on-site experts with up-to date tools and dynamic information availability based on actual conditions in the network based on technologies like AR/VR together with professional analytic capabilities.
  • Solutions enabling trusted and fast deployment of SW changes to live multivendor environments without any service breaks, combining analytics, cloudified networks, DevOps approaches and for instance blockchain technologies to ensure a secure e2e change process with zero tolerance for failure.

Nokia vision is to expand the human possibilities of technology to improve people’s lives in an fast changing environment where network services and resource availability is critical.

This Campaign has the objective to invite suppliers, start-ups, individual contributors and Universities to come up with solution to digitalize the broad scope of Network maintenance related capabilities via smart usage of automation and key IT technologies suitable for network operator specific use cases.

Process & benefits available for you via this Challenge:

Nokia will review all submissions and, if unique, disruptive, in line with Care strategy and not already internally identified, up to 3 ideas would be selected and will have the opportunity to present their proposal to Nokia’s Ecosystem Innovation Scouting Office and the Jury. The Winner s will receive “The best External Idea Award”. Aside its idea may be considered for implementation within Nokia. Note: there may not be any winner if disruptive idea is not identified. Successful ideas would be piloted by Nokia in challenging, real-world environments. At this time we are not looking for idea level submissions, but rather prototypes, products and solutions that we can pilot quickly. Successful pilots could lead to wider scale deployment.
