We are looking for concepts of “The Dream Learning Day” – what would it look like and what role does data play in it? We want you to challenge the traditional school day concept and think outside of the school building.

The world is moving fast and we have to adopt to the changing circumstances faster and faster. Therefore, also the learning environment has to change. The City of Espoo wants to challenge you to reimagine learning and to come up with a concept which makes the whole city a learning environment. Telia on the other hand wants to understand what is the role of networks in the future from education point of view.

Telia and the City of Espoo want to challenge you to create a concept of “The Dream Learning Day”. We encourage you to rethink what education means. Your solution should answer to the following questions:

  • Where do you start your learning day?
  • Where do you learn?
  • Who do you learn with?
  • What kinds of things will you learn and what helps you to learn them?
  • What devices will you use?

After you have determined what your day looks like, let’s dig deeper! What kind of solutions or applications will you need to enable your dream? And what kind of data will you need in order to make your day happen? During the 10 Days 100 Challenges program we will focus on your concept and the role of data in it. We expect that you can describe what kind of data you need to create your concept and how you can collect it. We will provide you with large amount of data that you can use to support your concept. However, we do not expect you to develop any applications for your concept.

We are looking for a concept, where the role of data is clearly defined, to be presented to the experts from Telia and Espoo, and the concepts which fulfill the challenge requirements will be presented at Espoo KYKY-fair and at Telia to business developers.

We are super excited to get you on board! Below, you can find out in more detail how we will help you to succeed.
