Meeting the industry’s finest: OpEN Ecosystem at the ANFR
What better place to talk about the future of a lot of industries than the world’s largest startup facility? That is apparently what the good people of the ANFR Spectrum & Innovation Conference thought as well, so that is where they made it happen.
On October 16th, Open Ecosystem Network and NOKIA were guests at the ANFR Spectrum & Innovation Conference. From discussion panels to industry though leaders, everybody had the right topics on their mind: Industry 4.0, Automotive, Mobility, Ecosystem and - most important to us - 5G. The conference took place at a notable location, namely Station F – the world’s largest startup facility, situated in a former rail freight depot in 13th arrondissement of Paris.
Talking the talk and walking the walk
Nothing beats hands-on experience - especially with an eager audience made up of digital professionals, start-ups and academics. So, we tried to make this as easy as possible and created a demonstration area that was available to all guests – but why stop there? Surely, no conference is complete without a full set of discussions and panels, right?
And this is where we brought the heavy artillery as well: From our main discussion (the agenda of 5G licenses in France) to showcasing holographic telepresence with 5G or our VP Joelle Gauthier presenting Nokia’s strategy to accelerate 5G in Europe - coming to the NOKIA booth at the ANFR was an experience that showed our guests that 5G is the future of mobile.
And to show our guests that we not only talk the talk but also walk the walk, we of course had a presentation on the Open Ecosystem Network as well – showing how we are using OpEN to collaborate with external partners on projects and communities and safely exchange crucial data here as well.
Showcasing the future
From a 5G R&D center, innovation labs, different pilots and use cases launched all over Europe now and in 2019 as well as several other projects to use cases on Industry 4.0 with Bosh and Telia - the keynote of NOKIA’s VPJoelle Gauthier showcased how NOKIA is approaching the future. Something which did not go unnoticed: The on-booth invitation for every guest for NOKIA France’s 5G Campus day, had good traction – and made us leave the ANFR on a high note.
