A Win-Win Approach for Steering Open Innovation

One of the key goals of the event was to facilitate encounters and create innovative business opportunities and initiate a dialogue between Nokia Shanghai Bell, Hangzhou TC Ecosystem and Open Ecosystem. Besides this the Open Ecosystem Network in the region would aim to set up community to develop sustainable technologies.

Other ideas such as an Open Source ERP system development for trading companies in China, Combining 3D Technologies with Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence and creating an Open Ecosystem Network Community Lead for middle eastern startups were also discussed during the exchange.

Local entrepreneurs and startups in technology fields such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, IoT and 5G using Nokia Hangzhou Technology Center resources (technical experts, garage events, etc) can also look forward to mentorship by the industry veterans in the near future.

The first OpEN Talks successfully brought individuals of different backgrounds together with an aim of developing shared passion projects. Following up on this, monthly OpEN Talks will be organized in Hangzhou with the ecosystem and the future events will also be live streamed in a webinar format.
